Let’s think and talk Biblically about the stories that have shaped our lives. In our small group, we’ll discuss various fables, fairy tales, myths, and legends in light of the Bible and in order to discover God’s truth and explore the world’s lies woven within these stories.

Pensemos y hablemos bíblicamente sobre las historias que han dado forma a nuestras vidas. En nuestro pequeño grupo, discutiremos varias fábulas, cuentos de hadas, mitos y leyendas a la luz de la Biblia y con el fin de descubrir la verdad de Dios y explorar las mentiras del mundo entretejidas dentro de estas historias.

Why does God allow suffering and tragedy? Does science disprove Christianity? Is Jesus really the only way? Did Jesus truly rise from the dead? Who is God? What’s the meaning of life? What arguments can I use to defend my beliefs? Christians have wrestled with questions like these for many years. Don't run from these types of questions anymore. Knowing what you believe and why you believe it is important. This small group will help you wrestle with hard questions and learn to effectively communicate your responses.

¿Por qué Dios permite el sufrimiento y la tragedia? ¿La ciencia refuta el cristianismo? ¿Es Jesús realmente la única manera? ¿Jesús realmente resucitó de entre los muertos? ¿Quién es Dios? ¿Cuál es el significado de la vida? ¿Qué argumentos puedo usar para defender mis creencias? Los cristianos han luchado con preguntas como estas durante muchos años. Ya no te escas de este tipo de preguntas. Saber lo que crees y por qué crees que es importante. Este pequeño grupo te ayudará a luchar con preguntas difíciles y a aprender a comunicar tus respuestas de manera efectiva.

As Jesus was tempted in the desert, a famous remark stood out to me: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4.4). The importance of God’s word is one that is affirmed again and again in both the Old and New testaments. The goal of this small group is to empower any member of the youth as they take up the challenge of studying the New Testament.

La importancia de la palabra es una que se reafirma varias veces en el Nuevo y viejo testamento. Life can be a little chaotic at times, and we don't want to go through it alone. The goal of this group is to have a stress-free environment, play board/card games, find others to lean on, and mostly, have fun! Locations may vary per week (you will be notified).
